I played in the school soccer team.I played forward and i was good at it (i think).We did good this year like always.I'm ready for high school I'm thinking going to CARL HAYDEN. Allot of my Friends are going there.I love there soccer team i am going to try out for there team...........My best year at capitol was in six grade.I was in ms.ford class i learned a lot in that class.I also was with mostly with my friends.That was ms.ford first year teaching ever. We had fun in that class.That year was my best year at capitol school. Too i have some favorite teachers one of them is Ms.Eby,she was my teacher for 2Nd and 3rd grade good memory's.She loved our class so much that when we were going to become 3rd graders she moved up to become 3rd grade teacher. these are some things that I'm going to miss from capitol.

My name is Magaly R. I'm 14 years old. My birthday is on October 31 .My favorite colors are BLACK and PINK. I go to Capitol school. It's my second year there. I like that school because it’s full of awesome people; well I only love my class and 4 from the other class. My best friends are Nancy, Mackayla, Jando, Noel, Selena, Edwin, Sergio, Cynthia they’re always there for me. The high school I want to go to is Central but not sure if I might go. Well I'm president......My hobbies are listening to music because it relaxes me....so yea. My favorite teacher is Mr. Roper, he’s the best!!! He became a best friend to me. This year I made new friendships and all of them are pretty cool. This year went great I’ll never forget my 8th grade year!!

Welcome to the 2009-2010 School Year!

Hello!

Welcome back to Capitol Middle School! As the school year begins the middle school staff would like to remind students of some supplies they will need for their classes. Many of these items can be acquired cheaply at stores like Staples, Office Max or Target, but if you would like some help with these supplies please notify your child's homeroom teacher - we would be glad to help!

• 1 three-ring binder for each subject (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies)
• Several spiral notebooks of lined paper (at least one for each subject)
• Lots of pencils! (Students must be responsible for having a pencil EVERY day)
• A backpack with their name, address, and phone number written on the bag.
• a set of highlighters in different colors (used for reading and note-taking)

We want every student to start off the year right and to be successful in their classes. We also feel it is important for Middle School students to learn responsibility and come prepared to class each and every day. Please check in with your child throughout the year to make sure they have plenty of these supplies and are keeping up with their notebooks for each subject.
